Holy Mass
At Stevens Institute of Technology, Newman Catholic offers students the ultimate Source of nourishment and joy: Jesus Christ Himself, truly present in the Holy Eucharist.
We hold Mass on campus on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month in Babbio 310 at 11am, followed by lunch and fellowship. On the 1st and 3rd Sundays we attend noon Mass at a local parish. Following Mass at the parish, all are welcome to join us for bagels and fellowship in the Gateway South lobby. Details for all Sunday Masses are posted in our Newman Catholic GroupMe. Each week, our chaplain Fr. Jarek celebrates daily Mass on campus. Although we are not obligated to attend Mass during the week, it is an excellent opportunity to grow closer to Jesus and receive the graces we need to live as His disciples. During the Fall 2026 semester, Mass will take place at 7pm on Tuesdays and Wednesdays in North Building 104.
Adoration
Daily Mass is often followed by a time of Adoration of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, a time for deeper prayer and silent reflection in the presence of Our Lord. In the Fall 2026 semester, we will have adoration on Wednesdays 7:30-8:30pm in North Building 104 following Mass.
Confession
When we sin, we hurt our relationship with God. In His love and mercy, God has given us a way to repair that relationship, which is through the sacrament of confession. Our chaplain Fr. Jarek is available to hear confessions or to have spiritual conversations during adoration and Newman Night which are found above.
